After last week's journey through darkness, I purchased my first headlamp. It's a Petzel Tikkina 2. I really had no idea what to get, so I went cheap ($19.95 at EMS.) It is perfect for what I need. It lights up the road well enough that I am not striding tentatively. It also illuminated several staring eyes (deer, cows, and the occasional cat), very creepy!!
