I really didn't want to go out today. I was lying in bed thinking, "I could take today off, and make it up Friday." I almost convinced myself to stay in bed, but then something from deep within pushing me against my will and there I was hitting the road for five miles. My body was definitely sore from yesterday's speed work. I didn't push too hard and the humidity was definitely a factor. However, after the run I was feeling much looser. I'm glad I did it.

I find that so often, I dread the run and have a million reasons why I don't want to get up to run. My legs hurt, I'm tired, this that and the other thing. And I am shocked to say that I always come back from a run feeling better than when I started. I always end glad that I went. And I feel very guilty when I don't. Good Job!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Upon finishing I always feel better too, maybe with the expection of speed work.
